Tools for Nudging Student Success
Thursday, September 24, 2020
10-11 A.M.
Join us as we hear from Dr. Bowen about new tools for nudging student success. How do we prompt students to do more of the work only they can do? Nudges are the design features we can use to encourage behaviors like more studying and sleep and better follow-through and course selection. How might we use psychology and behavioral economics to design better structures and choice architecture? We can indeed create policies, procedures, schedules, and Learning Management Systems that will influence behavior and help students take charge of their learning.
