We are pleased to announce the upcoming Great Lakes History Conference on Oct 22-23, which has been expertly organized by Professors, Peter Dobek and Nathan Kapoor of the History Department.
The theme of the conference, “The History of Sociability,” has drawn an impressive array of scholars who will be part of a series of panels, which will be held at Loosemore Auditorium (with a mixture of in-person and on-line formats) at the DeVos Campus. The keynote address by William Woys Weaver will be on “The Pretzel as Commensality: Breaking Bread and the Communal Table.”
