GVSU students international effort to present the student perspective on the 2024 elections.

Student News Live, a project of the College Radio Foundation, will feature GVSU students covering the 2024 election on Tuesday night. Over 120 colelge programs will cover this historic event between November 5th and 6th. 

Students from Grand Valley Student Reporting Labs; Journalism, Broadcasting, and Digital Media; the Grand Valley Lanthorn; and high school students from East Kentwood will host this event. The program will feature panel discussions hosted by Dr. Richard Besel and Dr. Len O’Kelly; live coverage from the Lanthorn on the student vote, and news features contributed by students.

Support for the project is provided by the School of Communications as well as the College of Education and Community Innovation and the GVSU Student Reporting Labs; supported by iHeart Media, PBS Newshour Student Reporting Labs, and NBC-U Academy.
