GVSU styled recreation of the Grammy Awards. Organizations come together to put on individual lip sync performances with their eboards/organizations. Participants can dress up, use background dancers, etc. Event will have a Formal attire requirement, Red Carpet, etc. This event is planned to bring together all communities at GVSU for a fun, entertaining, and interactive night.

"Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities." Founded on December 4, 1906, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. is the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African-Americans. Since its inception Alpha has worked to stimulate the ambition of its members; to prepare them for the greatest usefulness in the causes of humanity, freedom, and dignity of the individual; to encourage the highest and noblest form of manhood; and to aid downtrodden humanity in its efforts to achieve higher social, economic and intellectual status. Since 1974, the Iota Epsilon Chapter works diligently in engaging the Grand Valley and Grand Rapids community through community involvement and programming. All geared to fulfill the fraternities Aims of Manly Deeds, Scholarship and Love for All Mankind.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. is a nationally recognized sorority founded on January 13, 1913. on the campus of Howard University. The Lambda Pi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. was chartered on June 18, 1974 on the campus of Grand Valley State University as the 1st black Greek-letter organization on the campus. 50 years later and we are still painting the campus RED with our programs.
