Landscapes of Student Debt Symposium APPROVED INT 100/201!

The symposium will feature speakers from the US and abroad to discuss how global systems shape the ways in which undergraduate students experience debt and engage with students envisioning a debt-free college experience. Speakers include Dr. Rae Baker is an Assistant Professor in the Education and Community Action Research Program at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Dylan M. Harris is an Assistant Professor of Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Dr. Britain Hopkins is an Assistant Professor in the Department of American Culture and Literature at Bilkent University in Türkiye. Dr. John McKendrick is Professor of Social Justice at Glasgow Caledonian University and is Commissioner for Fair Access in Scotland.
There will be a speaker panel from 10-11:45am and an Envisioning a Debt-free Campus discussion 1-2:30pm.
