Faculty, Staff, Students
Fall semester is in full swing. The NIARA Fall Kickoff is a great way to celebrate that and to connect for all new and returning students. NIARA is a program designed to increase a sense of community and belonging, centering on the experiences of those who identify as women of color (WOC). Kim Possible the Owner and Dance/fitness instructor will be hosting a class free to all GVSU students.
Her signature class Twerk Werk has helped women not only transform their bodies but also transform their self esteem. Kim has had the opportunity to travel all over the state of Michigan, promoting women empowerment, sisterhood, and positive body image. She also offers other classes (tone, trap yoga, spiritual fitness, etc.).
