These are weekly social gatherings planned by and for GVSU students who are into hiking, camping, &/or backpacking. While we do plan to have a topic each week, it's meant to be a more informal exploration, focused on sharing ideas and having fun with other outdoorsy students.
Dehydrated Meals Potluck
Join us around the backpacking stoves for a backcountry styled potluck sampling! Meet others in the outdoor community, learn some backcountry skills, and sample some dehydrated meals that will inspire your food plan for your next trip. Each cook group will learn how to use a stove and we will provide the meal you will prepare to add to the potluck. Make sure to bring your own bowl, spoon blanket &/or lawn chair.
RSVP is encouraged for planning purposes.
