Are you looking for an opportunity to develop more as a student and leader? The Peter C. Cook Leadership Academy (CLA) is a leadership development program that offers students an opportunity to intentionally explore their personal leadership journey. CLA fellow candidates build upon their own experiences by engaging and connecting with a diverse group of GVSU students, and receive one-on-one mentorship from leaders in the community. This program is open to students of all majors, and we encourage you to join us via Zoom to learn more about what it means to be a CLA fellow candidate from current fellows and staff members!

All sessions will be virtual, take place at 5 pm, and be roughly 30 minutes.

CLA Applications:

Applications for the 2025-26 CLA Cohort open on Monday, November 25, 2024.

Deadline to apply is Monday, February 17, 2025.

The Peter C. Cook Leadership Academy is a leadership development program for undergraduate and graduate students of any major. Throughout the academic year, students take part in workshops, speaker events, and community networking opportunities with the goal of intentionally reflecting on and developing their leadership philosophy. Students will have the opportunity to meet a diverse group of their peers, who they will spend the year learning with and from. This program is for any student who is passionate about leadership and learning how to be an ethical and effective leader in today's world.
