The Regional Michigan Science Olympiad is a competitive STEM event that challenges students in middle and high school to apply their knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on, team-based competitions. Hosted by the Regional Math & Science Center at GVSU Allendale Campus, this event brings together young scientists from across the Ottawa, Kent, & Muskegon County to compete in a variety of disciplines, including engineering design, biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science. The top-performing teams advance to the state competition, hosted at Michigan State University April 26th.

Various locations including: Fieldhouse Arena, Recreation Center, Mackinac Hall, Padnos Hall, Kirkof Center, Manitou Hall, Cook-Dewitt Center, & Kindschi Hall.
