This event continues our partnership with the GVSU Office of Inclusion & Equity as part of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Week. We are honored to welcome TaRita Johnson, Senior Vice President of Talent & Diversity at The Right Place. With a professional journey spanning education, social work, business, and community engagement, she joins us to weave together her story with the legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Team Dream (2022), an 18-minute short, follows friends and competitive swimmers Ann and Madeline on their journey to the National Senior Games, where nothing -- not age, race, or history -- will stand in their way. Join us immediately following the public reception for the showing of this short documentary and a Q&A with co-star of the film, Ann.
Collaborating closely with the university, we are diligently monitoring the weather and road conditions for this event. We will communicate directly to registered participants should we need to switch to a fully virtual event.
