The Kaufman Interfaith Institute is excited to offer several sacred site visits across the West Michigan area during the 2024-2025 school year.

For our September visit, our hosts will be the Sikh Society of West Michigan on Wednesday, September 18 at 6:00pm

Important notes!

  • During our visit to the gurdwara, you will be expected to remove your shoes and cover your head with a bandana, cloth, or scarf upon entering. No hats or hoods! Coverings will be provided for those who do not bring their own.
  • Dinner (a sacred shared meal called langar) will be provided by the members of the Sikh community as a part of our visit.
  • If you need transportation to and from the site, please be sure to indicate this on your registration. While we cannot guarantee transportation, we will do our best to accommodate!
