Join us on Wednesday, November 6th at 4:30 pm on Zoom for a presentation by Dr. Ewa Maslowska: Studying attention to media content across devices: Implications for advertising.

This event is part of the Techfluence Talks series, hosted by AdPR Biometrics Lab, School of Communications.

Ewa Maslowska, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Charles H. Sandage Department of Advertising at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Ewa is also an Affiliate in the Institute of Communications Research, Informatics, and Center for Social and Behavioral Science. Ewa studies people and brands on digital platforms. She uses experiments and trace data to investigate the effects of (algorithmic) personalization and eWOM on consumers’ attention, perceptions, and decision making. Her current projects are investigating dark patterns and fake online reviews. Ewa received her PhD in Communication from the University of Amsterdam and her MA in Psychology from the Jagiellonian University.
