Join us for our annual school year kickoff series of
professional development for educators! The Groundswell
Summer Institute is designed to empower educators of all subjects,
grades, and experience levels and highlight resources and
opportunities to make the most out of your school year.
Meet the
teachers, experts and community partners in our area who can help add
meaning and purpose into your classroom routines.
Join the full
3-day experience (or as many days as you can). Teachers new to
Groundswell are strongly encouraged to attend.

Discover Place-Based Education with Trout
Unlimited's watershed STEM program, that will help you and your
students build a personal connection to your home waters through the
eyes of a writer, artist, angler and scientist.
Day 2

Learn how to lead your students in
citizen science by doing a population study of fish in the 80-acre
lake of Ottawa Sands. Learn how math and science helps us analyze the
predator-prey relationships of a healthy ecosystem.

Test out Project Aquatic WILD's
easy-to-use resources and cross-curricular activities that will help
you guide students in learning the importance of the aquatic wildlife
& ecology of the Great Lakes State.
