As part of the Your Health Lecture Series, join Meghan R. Behrmann, MD, for an in-depth discussion about the lifelong effects of adverse childhood experiences. You’ll learn about:
- The definition of an adverse childhood experience and the pivotal research that highlights the importance of these events on public health.
- The life course perspective, its critical components, and how it relates to adverse childhood events.
- The role of early childhood professionals and programs in reducing the long-term consequences of early adversity and trauma.
