At Financially Lit, we are on a mission to harness the passion and creativity of high school students by providing them with a platform to learn, create, and share financial literacy content. We believe that the best way to spread financial knowledge is through creating and engaging with relatable content, and that's where the ABCs of Financially Lit come in.

We seek out high school students who are eager to learn and share their insights on financial literacy. Whether they're individuals or part of a group of up to three members, we challenge them to create TikTok-style videos that make financial concepts exciting and accessible to their peers.

We proudly showcase these student-created videos on our Instagram and TikTok platforms, where we reach a wide audience who are curious about financial literacy. You can find us at @financiallylitGV, where we're building a community of financially empowered young individuals.

To recognize and appreciate the efforts of our student creators, we compensate them for the videos they produce. We believe in fostering a sense of value for their contributions and acknowledging the dedication they bring to the table.

1. Set Up Your Financial Lit Creator Profile

Students who are interested in becoming creators must start by setting up their Creator Profile. This step helps us get to know their interest and provide them with the necessary resources for them to start creating content for Financially Lit.

2. Licensing Agreement and W9

To ensure a smooth compensation process, students must submit their licensing agreement and W9 forms to the Financially Lit team via DocuSign. We require parental or guardian oversight/co-signature during this step to ensure legal requirements are properly understood. Payments for videos will be issued (in mailed checks) once the form is completed without errors.  

3. Content Creation Guidelines

To maintain consistency and quality across our platform, we provide students with detailed content creation guidelines. These guidelines ensure that the videos they create align with our mission, effectively communicate financial concepts to peer viewers, and adhere to our standards. 

4. Final Video Submission

Once students have familiarized themselves with our guidelines and are ready to showcase their creative talents, they can easily upload their proposals or original video content through our Asset Submission Portal. This streamlined process ensures that their creations are promptly considered for sharing with our community.
