ArtPrize opens Wednesday

Grand Valley State University will host two voter registration sites, 24 artists, as well as educational and entertaining programming as part of ArtPrize 2010. Grand Valley was selected as one of seven exhibition centers for this year's ArtPrize competition, which begins Wednesday, September 22 and continues through October 10.

The GVSU Outdoor Art & Sculpture Exhibition Center at 301 and 401 West Fulton, on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus is situated along the Grand River between Pearl and Fulton Streets. Grand Valley also provides two voting registration sites: University Bookstore, in the DeVos Center on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus; and the 20-20 Information Desk in Kirkhof Center on the Allendale Campus. Registration is currently underway, while voting begins September 23. Voting instructions can be found at www.artprize.org .
