The Department of Latin American Studies is among sponsors hosting a Latin American Film Festival, which will run April 8-10 at Wealthy Theatre in Grand Rapids. The two-day event is free and open to the public.
A lecture, "Moving Images, Crossing Borders" by Marvin D'Lugo, a professor from Clark University, will take place at Wealthy Theatre on Saturday, April 10, at 3 p.m.
Other sponsors include Calvin College, Aquinas College, Wealthy Theatre and West Michigan's International Film Series, Chiaroscuro.
