A record number of K-12 students have visited Grand Valley as part of several different Charter Schools Office programs.

Approximately 8,800 students of all ages visited a Grand Valley campus this year through a combination of summer camps, campus visit programs for 8th- and 11th-grade students, and ArtPrize Education Days.

Nearly 7,000 of those students took part in ArtPrize education days, a program that brings students from schools around the state to take part in tours of the city during the massive art contest and gives them a chance to create their own art in interactive, hands-on displays and demonstrations.

The other visits helped students build familiarity with a college environment.
