About 1,500 students packed the Fieldhouse Arena April 19 to honor President Thomas J. Haas and his wife, Marcia Haas, for their 13 years of service to the university. President Haas retires June 30, 2019.
Haasta La Vista, sponsored by the Office of Student Life, Campus Activities Board and Student Senate, featured free food, music, T-shirts and a performance by the Laker Marching Band.
President Haas, known for his thousands of selfies with students, was presented with a photo made up of student selfies. See the full mosaic here.
