The Hauenstein Center’s Associate Director, Brian Flanagan, presented to the 2010 incoming class of Omicron Delta Kappa, at their new member induction ceremony in the Loosemore Auditorium at Grand Valley State University. In his address, Mr. Flanagan talked about the leadership lessons borne out of the rivalry between Silicon Valley giants Apple and Google.

Mr. Flanagan began his talk by addressing the epic rivalry between Apple and Google. He maintained that the rivalry is not just money or ego-drive, but rather, is motivated by two very different approaches to creativity.
