Hauenstein Center Director Gleaves Whitney spoke about voting and the 2008 presidential election at Riverside Middle School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The school’s social studies teacher Dan Reed – also a fellow in the Hauenstein Center’s Cook Leadership Academy – organized Riverside’s mock presidential election and assembly.
