Description
In our needful time, humanistic study can help Americans cross the deep political chasms that separate us. By encouraging us to heed the wisdom of voices from distant epochs and faraway places, by urging us to grapple responsibly with today’s challenges, and by calling us to see the world through the eyes of others, the humanities expand our understanding beyond the limits of our personal circumstances.
Join Hauenstein Center Director Gleaves Whitney, alongside Bradley Birzer and Elisabeth Lasch-Quinn, at this special gathering in search of deeper common ground at the Hauenstein Center.
At the end of this program, we want to hear from you in our special “Town Hall” session. What are your thoughts on pursuing common ground for the common good in our age of hyperpolarization?
