Having taken the helm only months before the Covid-19 pandemic, Mantella was ahead of the curve in shifting coursework online and has continued to lead the way for flexible learning. Nationally recognized as a change agent in higher education, Mantella has spearheaded efforts to expand lifelong learning and digital initiatives at universities throughout the country, creating benefits for learners and employers along the way. Mantella brings more than 30 years of experience to her position at Grand Valley. Join the Hauenstein Center, as we welcomed President Philomena Mantella, to our Wheelhouse Talks series.
