Job Summary
Support Financial Aid Office in processing materials and information pertaining to financial aid awards.
Essential Functions
- Manage and maintain the document indexing process for all incoming documents via USPS, mail, fax, and front desk drop-offs.
- Manage the document indexing for all emails received by the office.
- Manage the upload of incoming documents for students into Campus Logic, both hard copy and electronic formats.
- Index and conduct check deposits for all scholarship funds, coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate financial processing.
- Upload and organize various documents including R2T4s, study abroad budgets and agreements, and financial aid verification forms.
- Review and process FAFSA discrepancy reports in Argos.
- Manage the V4/V5 reporting through Campus Logic to the federal processor for active academic years.
- Manage transfer monitoring process during billing cycle.
- Conduct daily review of office report inbox to proactively identify errors and discrepancies in nightly electronic functions.
- Process Landlord Letter requests through online CMS at the beginning of each semester.
- Manage the creation of paper award letters in Argos for students requesting hard-copy documentation.
- Create specific keyword tracking for documents upon request of various in office teams.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Back up phones as necessary.
- Back up reception area as necessary.
- Handle correspondence relating to learning programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of four years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills.
- Experience with various computer software applications such as Microsoft Office and/or equivalent.
- Data entry experience.
- Typing and spelling competency with grammar and proofreading skills.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience to successfully provide quality customer service.
- Demonstrated experience to successfully work independently, organize own work and coordinate work activities of others.
- Demonstrated experience to successfully coordinate large projects.
- Demonstrated experience to successfully handle multiple demands effectively.
- Demonstrated experience to successfully organize and prioritize workload.

Preferred Qualifications
- Some college course work.
- Higher education work experience
- Supervisory experience.
Supervision Received
Receives minimal supervision from a designated supervisor. Much of the work is self-initiated. Person is expected to function with considerable independence and apply appropriate policies and procedures within the assigned area of responsibility.
Supervision Exercised
Hire, train, schedule and coordinate the work of student employees and may act as lead worker to PSS staff members within the department/unit/division.
