The Inauguration of Philomena V. Mantella

Philomena V. Mantella was installed as the fifth president of Grand Valley State University on Friday, November 15. Since beginning her tenure at the university in July 2019, President Mantella has engaged with students, faculty, staff, and the external community to define and describe the essence of Grand Valley, identify opportunities for growth, and develop solutions to strengthen the education ecosystem.
Launched by the vision of our founders, built through the support of our community, sustained by the energy of our students, and made ever strong through the dedication of our faculty and staff, Grand Valley has continuously gained momentum and earned distinction. President Philomena V. Mantella is a network global leader who reflects our spirit and is driven to boldly amplify our collective impact.
Under her leadership we will reach higher together.
