A note from Miloš Topić

As Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Digital Officer, my role is to oversee the execution of our vision for technology, in addition to establishing partnerships focused on innovation, online learning, data and analytics, information security, digital capabilities and enterprise efficiencies. Since I have joined Grand Valley in August 2020, I have been impressed and inspired by numerous accomplishments of our students, faculty and staff and I am very excited about our opportunities ahead. Additionally, I would like to take a moment on behalf of my Information Technology colleagues to congratulate and thank you for everything you do for our students and each other every single day. Please note that we are here to partner with you in supporting and enabling your initiatives in teaching, learning, academic research as well as reimagining new solutions across all enterprise functions.  

This is an exciting time for innovation across higher education and I believe that we are uniquely positioned to lead in this space. As our lives and workplaces have changed and evolved in recent times, so have our classrooms and labs where effective uses of technology have been of great value to teaching, learning and research. Having said that, I believe that we can continue to do better and I am eager to work with you on elevating our collective experiences.
