Through Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW) funding, Grand Valley State University’s (GVSU) Kirkhof College of Nursing (KCON) established the Preceptor Resource Network (PRN) to enrich the precepting experience. As part of our commitment to enhancing the precepting experience, the HRSA ANEW grant team collaborated with KCON's HRSA Nursing Workforce Diversity (NWD) grant team to strengthen the existing PRN repository. The PRN repository aims to connect preceptors with a wide range of valuable resources, including but not limited to precepting strategies and training, continuing education opportunities, mental health, telehealth, cultural sensitivity, practice, and policy. This initiative aims to support preceptors in their vital role and foster a dynamic learning environment for healthcare professionals, further enhancing the overall quality of healthcare education and delivery.
