About the Assessment Committee

1. Design and implement assessment projects related to advising at GVSU

2. Use best practices in assessment to promote data-based decisions, equity, and inclusion in work and culture of each advising center

3. Align all assessment efforts with LAAN Committees (Executive, Mentorship, Training & Development, Technology, and Transfer Student Orientation)

4. Collaborate with Enrollment Development, Admissions, Student Academic Success Center Staff, Faculty committees at the university (UAC, UCC, etc.), Division of Student Affairs, and the Dean of Students as appropriate    

5. Report progress and findings to LAAN Executive Committee as directed

1. Develop a method of surveying LAAN Committees to solicit yearly project(s)
