Welcome to GVSU Links U!
What is Links U?
In the fall of 2012, Grand Valley State University (GVSU) introduced an innovative peer program called Campus Links. To better support the growing number of students with disabilities and those who identify as disabled, the program has evolved into what is now Links U. This evolution has significantly enhanced our ability to promote inclusivity for all students seeking support through Student Accessibility Resources. The Links U program now provides even more effective peer-to-peer connections, academic support, and structured social support. Links U Peers help students adjust to new environments and routines more quickly, fostering a more fulfilling and enriching college experience for all participants.
What are the goals of Links U?
- Retain degree-seeking undergraduate students with disabilities.
- Facilitate a positive academic environment
- Respond to the individualized needs of the students
- Support faculty members with resources to assist in the classroom
- Foster a greater level of inclusion and sense of belonging for Grand Valley students with disabilities.
