We need volunteers for two shifts: Morning (7:30 am - 12:00 p.m.) and Afternoon (11:30 am - 4 p.m.). You will be free to attend conference sessions when you are not volunteering.

Math in Action is a hybrid conference, meaning we will have both in-person participants and participants joining us online via Zoom. Some of our presentations will be streamed via Zoom, and we need our volunteers to help moderate these sessions. You will receive some training on moderating online sessions via Zoom when you arrive at the conference. The following questions are meant to gauge your experience with the platform Zoom.

If you are especially interested in assisting with specific presentations, you can request them below. Please list the session letter (e.g. A3, F5, etc.) and the specific name of the presentation. Sessions and descriptions are listed in the brochure, which is available on the Math in Action website.

This is optional and not guaranteed, since you may be volunteering at other jobs during some of these sessions (such as running a registration table, or tending the speaker's lounge). We will do our best to assign you to relevant sessions whenever possible.
