Description
Eastern Illinois University professors Rebecca Johnson, flute, and Magie Beck, clarinet, will perform a recital of eclectic flute and clarinet duos. They have been performing together since 2007, and have traveled together for many festivals and concert series, including the Chicago Flute Club Festival, the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic, and the Flute Society of Kentucky. They have enjoyed performing and giving masterclasses at many universities in the Midwest and South. A highlight was traveling to Ecuador for the Convención Internacionál de Flautistas in Quito, Ecuador, in 2014.
