Dr. Molly York is a flutist and educator in Grand Rapids, MI. She is currently teaching musicology at Grand Valley State University. She holds a Doctorate of Music Arts degree and a Master of Music Degree from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Music degree from Grand Valley State University. As an active member of the National Flute Association, Dr. York has served as an educator, teaching clinics on flute pedagogue and hand position techniques. As a devoted chamber and orchestral musician, Dr. York has performed with the City Creek Winds, the Idaho Falls Symphony and was Principal Flute in the Idaho State Civic Symphony.
