Here are a few important terms you'll want to be familiar with to make navigating GVSU easier.

MyBanner - Our online system: it allows you to register for classes, view transcripts, and more.
MyPath - Shows degree requirements; the ones you have met and those you need to complete. Available through MyBanner.
Academic Advisor - Your academic advisor works with you in a one-on-one setting to help you with schedule planning and course selection. Academic advisors may have been called counselors at your previous school.
Faculty Advisor - Your faculty advisor; an expert from your major who can help you make decisions regarding your academic career and opportunities like internship options.
Navigate - a student success software that assists with appointment making and access to services on campus.
