About
I started my career as a high school English teacher before pursuing
a Master's, English Literature at Iowa State University (ISU). I then
taught there as a teaching professor for four years before earning a
PhD in Education. Over the past ten years, I have taught a variety of
college education, composition, speech, and gender studies
classes.
Beyond teaching, I'm new to GVSU/Michigan, so I'd love to
learn about your favorite LGBTQIA+ friendly spots in the area! I
especially enjoy time outside with my fiancée and dog and nerding out
over tabletop games and D&D, movies/TV shows, books, comics, etc.
