2026 FIRST YEAR ADVISING HOLD
We will start offering First Year Advising Hold appointments starting next week (January 20). These appointments will be available to schedule online via Navigate starting Noon on Friday, January 16.
To fulfill the required advising, please meet with your advisor anytime between January 20 and the day your registration window opens (end of March). To learn more, please visit our First Year advising hold website.

Our office is located on the downtown Grand Rapids campus inside the Innovation Design Center in suite 212.
TAKING THE BUS
Transportation between, within, and around the Robert C. Pew Grand Rapids Campus and the Allendale Campus is easy, convenient and free. Grand Valley State University offers separate routes for students, faculty, and staff.
All Grand Valley and Rapid routes are free to ride with your student or faculty/staff ID card.
