Congratulations to the 2024 Co-op Awards Recepients

On Friday August 2nd, we were thrilled to honor our graduating
seniors and hear from industry leaders representing the Greater Grand
Rapids area and beyond during the Co-Op
Employer Forum & Awards Presentation and an
Industry-Sponsored Senior Project Showcase. Thank you to all who
joined us to extend best wishes to the seniors and contribute to
critical constituent listening sessions to gain an understanding of
future industry trends/needs and to shape the direction of the Padnos
College of Engineering.
A highlight of the day was the presentation of the annual
co-op awards. Congratulations to all the awarded recipients,
listed below, for their outstanding work!
Co-op Employer of the Year award : Gentex Corporation
Co-op Supervisor of the Year Award: Brett Gorby, Product Manager, Magna International
Co-op Student of the Year Award: Seth Konynenbelt, Embedded Systems Co-op, DornerWorks
Co-op Faculty Advisor of the Year : Dr. Catherine
Molloseau, Assistant Professor, Grand Valley State University
Thank you to all who participated in the annual Engineering
Design Conference and for helping to build a strong university and
industry collaboration that will further the mission of the Padnos
College of Engineering and create an exciting future for all involved.
