1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
After graduate school, I enlisted in the Navy as a combat engineer (Seabee). After 4 years in that role, I was commissioned as an officer using my MSW and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I now do embedded psych for the Navy and recently was featured on the cover of a Navy magazine for my outsized role aboard the USS Eisenhower during our 2023-2024 combat deployment to the Red Sea.

2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
My favorite memory was randomly being filmed for the "LipDub" in 2010 and playing GVSU Rugby with my best mates!

3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Do something today that your future self will thank you for.

4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand Valley experience.
Fun, Memorable, and Transformative

5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I want to continue to be a rock for my fellow service members, and carry on into politics post-retirement to become Michigan governor someday.
