1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
After graduating in my parents living room in the height of COVID, I packed up my things and moved to South Florida to continue my journey with the Gift of Life Marrow Registry. Since the move, I have had the opportunity to work with hundreds students across the country putting together donor drives for patients battling blood cancers, sickle cell, and other immune disorders. Within my career with Gift of Life, I have added over 12,000 donors to the registry, find 143 matches for patients in need, and facilitate 5 life saving transplants.

2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
Absolutely the football games. Nothing better than getting decked out in Laker gear with your friends to cheer on your favorite football team!

3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
If you love your job, you’ll never work a day in your life. It’s not that glamorous or easy, but loving what you do makes such a difference. Forever grateful that GVSU brought me to my passion and future career through the Gift of Life club.

4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand Valley experience.
Chaotic, challenging, but absolutely irreplaceable.

5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I want to continue making a difference by working with students to inspire them to give back and make an impact.
