1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
I started working at SpartanNash as a recruiter and Intern
Program Manager. After launching and establishing the internship
program there and gaining invaluable experience recruiting both
corporate and supply chain roles, I then pursued an opportunity at
Kellogg Company. I am now continuing my passion for developing early
in career talent through programs but focused on individuals in the
skilled trades profession!
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
One of my accounting professors (Sopariwala) once sat with me for
2 hours straight to help me understand my homework and prepare for the
final exam. After he graded mine, he emailed me to let me know he was
proud of my grade. It was a moment that taught me what truly learning
material versus memorizing it felt like.
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
No one knows what you want until you tell them, and you can’t do
what you want unless you’re willing to raise your hand.
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Developmental, inspiring, and enlightening
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I would like to help create paths for all types of people and
opportunities for individuals with all kinds of talents. Mentoring and
leading others to where they want to be is something I hope to accomplish!
