1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Grand Valley's athletic training program allowed me to work in
the NFL with the Detroit Lions on their medical staff. Following my
time in the NFL, I pursued a doctorate in Chiropractic at Palmer
College of Chiropractic. In 2010, I started practicing chiropractic in
Virginia. After many years of serving patients in the clinic setting,
I pivoted into healthcare emergency preparedness. In 2018, I joined
the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association and have the
privilege of working with all healthcare organizations across the
Commonwealth to keep all Virginians prepared and safe during an emergency.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
Working under incredible mentors of Todd Jager, Brian Hatzel, and
Shari Bartz. In addition, working on the staff of the championship
teams with legendary athletes and coaches.
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
"Don't let yourself limit your opportunities and successes
by thinking you are not good enough to pursue an opportunity."
"If you are going to make mistakes, make small ones."
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Growth, Team, Experiences

Have an impact to ensure we are more prepared and equipped to
