1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Since graduation from GVSU's DPT program, I worked for a year as
a clinical PT in Alabama. Following this, I began my Travel PT
journey, stopping in Kentucky, Phoenix, and Chicago before taking my
last travel job near Santa Barbara, CA. I worked clinically for 6
months and then became the Rehabilitation manager of our Skilled
Nursing Facility in 2018. In July of 2018, I was promoted to the
Director of Rehabilitation and oversaw multiple outpatient clinics, an
acute care hospital, a skilled nursing facility, and wound care.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
Moving into the dorms during freshmen year, meeting random
strangers who have become lifelong friends.
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
You are a true leader when you help your team become successful.
Remember leadership is not about you, it's all about the people you serve.
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Demanding, Fun, and Rewarding
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
Fostering a team, at any level, of compassionate, empathetic, and
skilled individuals who improve the lives of those dealing with
illness, of any kind.
