Employer
Gentiva Hospice/ RN Case Manager
1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Immediately post-grad, I started in the Corewell Comprehensive
Breast and Gender Affirmation Clinic as a Graduate Nurse, moving into
a Registered Nurse role once passing my NCLEX. January 2025, I was
offered a RN Case Manager role with Gentiva Hospice, where I am
currently. On a daily basis, I am serving patients and families of
West Michigan by providing care and comfort during the dying process.
It's an honor to do what I do and be part of those moments.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
Going to Ghana with KCON! I learned so much about the Ghanaian
people, medicine, community, and I made lifelong friends along the way.
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
You got this!
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Unpredictable, academia, and joyful
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I've always said that as a nurse, I want to show others the same
love and care I've been shown. In this hospice role, I hope to show
humanity in keeping patients comfortable and continue supporting their
families during a challenging chapter. I desire to remind others there
is human goodness in a world that is so full of darkness.
