Physics Help Corner (Now within the Tutoring Center)
The PHC is open for Finals Week (F2024)
The Physics Help Corner is open Monday through Thursday during finals week. See schedule at right for exact hours.
We are located within the Tutoring and Reading Center (off the Henry/Loutit Atrium).
We currently do not have any downtown tutoring available at the Pew Tutoring Center (EC 608). Please contact us if you would be interested in this option.
There are additional resources for physics students at the linked Google Drive directory, including:
- Lecture notes on introductory physics topics
- Lecture videos on some of these topics (e.g., Lecture Videos for PHY220)
We hope to add more soon.
Our tutors are former students of the non-calculus (220-221) or calculus-based (230-231/234) introductory physics sequence and are happy to do their best to help with questions from PHY 200, PHY 220-221, PHY 230-231/234, PHY 216, SCI 225-226, PHY 280, and PHY 105. But, be sure to visit your current professor's office hours for the most tailored advice.
The University's Tutoring and Reading Center is also open for scheduled tutoring. Schedule an appointment there online!
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions about the Physics Help Corner, please contact Prof Ben Holder at [email protected].
