Photo Galley: Graphic Design

Let one of our talented graphic designers bring your idea to life! We offer design services from our awesome team of student staff. We provide a diverse set of styles, and we love working with clients to produce design work that will take your promotions to the next level. 

Maybe you have a very specific idea in mind and inspiration images to provide, or maybe you have no idea what your project should look like. That's ok! Give us as much or as little direction as you want, and we'll work with you to create a design you're happy with.

Not everything we design needs to be printed. We can create web graphics or logos, and more!

We use Adobe Creative Cloud for all our design work.

Design Time is priced by the hour. We can give estimates for how long a project will take— please email us with some details about your project!

Laying something out for print (less than 5 minutes): FREE!

Campus Departments: $25 for the first hour, $15 additional hour.

Registered Student Organizations: $15 per hour.

Division of Student Affairs Departments: Graphic design services are provided at no-cost.

Photo Gallery: Campus Posting

We can post your posters to all Campus and General Boards on the Allendale Campus and to Housing for a $10 posting fee. Please visit the Posting Website for board counts, policies, and approval guidelines for posters.

To be approved and stamped for Campus Posting, posters must include the following information, clearly visible: 

• Name of sponsoring group
  • GVSU department/organization
  • Registered Student Organization
  • Class Name
  • If not GVSU affiliated, include the name of the business or individual
• Contact information
  • Include at least one of the following: phone number, email address, website, or social media handle
  • QR codes do not count as an official form of contact. 
• For events, also include:
  • Title of event
  • Date and time
  • Event location

We post for you: $10 for all boards 

You post yourself: FREE, but not able to post on Housing boards

Posting Only: 1-3 business days
We only post twice a week to the Allendale Campus.
Print & Posting: 5 business days

Photo Gallery: Banners

Kirkhof banners are a great way to advertise your organization or event. These paper banners are printed in our office, and hang from the Kirkhof balconies. We can also print custom sizes, and on other materials (like vinyl).

Banners for events will be taken down the day after your event. Other banners (no event date) can stay up for a maximum of 1 semester. After we take your banner down, you have the option to pick it up from our office.

Bring your own banner to our office and we'll hang it for free (1 semester max. per banner). Must be a professionally printed, GVSU affiliated banner.

Standard Banner Size (42"x72")

Photo Gallery: Posters

Posters are one of the best ways to spread your message around campus. We can print them in two sizes, 8.5"x11" or 11"x17", and in color or black and white.

We can also post your posters around campus and housing. 

Large posters (larger than 11"x17") are considered banners. We can print them up to 42" wide (see Banners section for more info).

Photo Gallery: Pluggers

Want to do some tabling around campus? Pluggers are a great way to hand someone information on the fly. They are quarter sheets of paper (4.25"x5.5"), printed in color or black and white, that are easy to hand out to interested people. Pluggers are very cost effective, especially black and white.

Please do not leave pluggers on tables or desks around campus— they tend to blow around and become trash. Pluggers are much more effective when handed out to people passing by. Help keep our campus litter-free! 

Pluggers cannot be posted on campus bulletin boards. The smallest size we allow to be posted is half of an 8.5"x11" page.

Photo Gallery: Vinyl Banners

Vinyl banners are very durable and great for outdoor events. Grommets are no additional charge and can be placed anywhere on the banner.

Photo Gallery: Yard Signs

Yard Signs are corrugated plastic signs that come with metal stakes. They’re printed in full color: 18”x24” landscape or portrait.

T-Shirts are a great giveaway item to promote your event or department. We have shirts screen printed through a local printer.

We also offer screen printing and embroidery on any apparel you could imagine. Anything from professional navy polos with your embroidered department logo, to backpacks with a custom screen printed design. Since prices vary greatly, please contact us for more info.

Below are price estimates for 1-color artwork on a basic crew neck. Due to screen printing setup fees, we don’t recommend ordering fewer than 12. 

All pricing below is based upon S-XL sizes. Add $3.00 each for 2XL sizes and $5.00 each for 3XL sizes.
