Placement Accommodations

While the RA application asks for preferences related to student population, candidates are not able to select a particular community or building unless specific placement is required as a reasonable accommodation for a documented condition and need as confirmed and approved by Student Accessibility Resources.

All accommodation requests (including but not limited to air conditioning, full kitchen, private bathroom, elevator access, etc. ) that may influence the particular placement of an RA staff member must be processed through Student Accessibility Resources by Friday, February 7, 2025 for consideration as it pertains to the RA position. 


Background Check Authorization

Due to the responsibilities of the Resident Assistant position (accessing confidential student data, managing keys, etc.); as well as the nature of the Resident Assistant position (room and board scholarship), candidacy is dependent on a successful criminal background, conduct, academic background check.
