Laker Family Weekend FUN(D) Run

Participation Levels
Participants can select from two options during registration depending on their level of interest: "I just want to have fun" or "I'm in it to win it" to compete for our overall Top 10.
No matter which option you choose, walkers are always welcome!
Awards
Our overall Top 10 competitors will receive a medal and prize pack.
The Course
Our course is a 2-mile loop that includes popular Allendale campus landmarks and making it accessible and enjoyable for all participants.
For a Cause
All proceeds will go directly to your choice of fund that directly benefits GVSU students.

Registration is currently closed and will reopen in July 2025 for our next event.
Waivers
Waivers must be completed prior to the event start. Click on the icon to complete along with your registration form or use this link to access.
What You Get
All participants will receive a commemorative race bib, t-shirt, and sticker for the event, while supplies last.
Join the Fun
Yard games & activities will be on site near the start/finish line for racers & supporters to enjoy throughout the event.
Fun(d) Run Policies
Delays & Cancelations
If weather conditions present a danger to participants, GVSU staff maintain the right to cancel or delay the event. Less threatening conditions may cause adjustments to the event to ensure safety of everyone involved. Such conditions will not result in refunding of any registration fees or future credit.
If the event is cancelled prior to the event date, participants will be notified as soon as possible.
Animals
This policy is intended to enhance the safety and health of students, faculty, staff, contractors, vendors and other visitors, and to supplement the existing GVSU policies, by providing rules and regulations regarding the presence of animals in GVSU facilities.
No person shall bring any animal(s) onto university owned or controlled property unless otherwise permitted by this or other University policy as in the GVSU policy.
