Wellness is a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of
achieving full potential. How do you actively pursue your wellness?
I pursue wellness in a number of different ways. In any given
day, I try to balance physical, emotional and mental wellness as they
are all important for me to function at my optimum level. Physical
wellness through exercise and sports. Emotional wellness though my
faith, aligning myself with what is important in life. Mental wellness
through finding time everyday to relax or spend time with family.
What do you do to take care of yourself when you are feeling
stressed or overwhelmed?
When I am feeling stressed, I like to remove myself from the
situation and try to look at the big picture. What is my end goal?
Am I focused on the right thing? If I am, then I take a break
and reset. If I'm off on a tangent I refocus and recalibrate my efforts.
What motivates you to be well and stay healthy?
My biggest motivation to stay healthy and well is for myself. I
stay healthy so I can continue to do the things I like. I think that
to appreciate life and live it to the fullest you need to stay healthy.
