"The thoughts of staying at home with no work, no school, and no social activities terrified me. Even though I am a very introverted person, I still enjoy talking to people and being around people. This challenge has enabled me to become more in-tune with my body through my love of hiking, biking, and just enjoying nature. Living in beautiful West Michigan, we are beyond blessed to have such beautiful parks and areas to go. I have been to each county park from Olive Shores Park to Millennium Park to Grand Ravines Park to Mt. Pisgah. During this time, it encouraged me to go outside even more than a normal day, yet practice safe social distancing. Being outside is the best medicine anyone could ask for! It has been so much fun trying new activities during this time!"
Allison was the winner of the 2020 #GVLakerStrong Activity Challenge with 16,966 minutes of physical activity logged from March 30 to May 31, 2020.
