Wellness is a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of
achieving full potential. How do you actively pursue your wellness?
I'm constantly looking for ways to enhance my wellness. Most
importantly, I make it a point to try new things that I find! It's too
easy to get stuck in the same rut of an unhealthy routine. I do my
best to be mindful of how I'm feeling and give myself grace when life
gets rough.
What do you do to take care of yourself when you are feeling
stressed or overwhelmed?
When I'm feeling stressed or overwhelmed, I unplug from social
media and electronics as much as possible. I used to run a lot when I
was younger and I've recently started again! Exercising allows me to
clear my head and reset when life seems impossible.
What motivates you to be well and stay healthy?
I'm motivated to be well and stay healthy because that's exactly
what I want for my loved ones too! Being "well" encompasses
so much more than just physical activity, and mental health is
especially important to me. I strive to help others learn how to be
healthy, but I also recognize that I have to start by helping myself.
