Wellness is a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of
achieving full potential. How do you actively pursue your wellness?
I try to really be in tune with what I'm feeling both mentally
and physically! Knowing when I need to take a mental break when I'm
feeling overwhelmed and stressed, or letting my body rest when I'm not
feeling well allows me to keep my wellness in check!
What do you do to take care of yourself when you are feeling
stressed or overwhelmed?
I really enjoy going to the gym or watching movies when I feel
overwhelmed. At the gym I'm able to get my body moving and clear my
head of what's been going on that day. I like to watch old movies
after a long stressful day to calm my mind.
What motivates you to be well and stay healthy?
Most of my motivation comes from the benefits being healthy has
had on my mental health. Creating a routine of daily physical activity
gives me the opportunity to better myself and become stronger while
eating a balanced diet makes my body feel better. Staying healthy has
improved my mental health significantly by allowing me to set goals
for myself and achieving them. Staying healthy pushes me to make the
conscious decision to create lifelong health habits.
